At HUHA™ we’re all about raising the standard on women’s undies—from wider gussets and zinc liners to breathable fabrics and comfy cuts. But lately, we’ve had our sights on one particular standard…
We’re proud to announce that Huhas are officially OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified. Translation? Clean, comfy, and certified free of harmful substances.
What is OEKO-TEX®?
For those of you not familiar, this globally recognized distinction tests and certifies that all components of our garments—from fabrics and dyes to elastic waistbands and adjustable sliders—are free of over 1000 harmful substances.
Specifically, our garments (undies, bras, and loungewear included) have been certified to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 product class II, which tests against strict limit values and safety requirements for products with direct to skin contact.
What that means for you:
-
Peace of mind knowing your undies are tested against 1000+ harmful substances
-
Certified safe for direct skin contact
-
Independently tested to exceed global safety regulations
Will my Huhas change?
Nope! In terms of comfort, cuts, and materials, you shouldn’t notice any changes in your fave styles. While the process of getting our garments tested and certified took some time, we have always prioritized your health and safety, and we’ve been working with solely OEKO-TEX® certified suppliers and factories for a while.
We know it can be confusing and overwhelming to navigate safety (and misinformation) when it comes to the products you buy—especially those related to your most intimate parts. That’s why we took this extra step, for your comfort in both body and mind.

It’s always been our mission to make undies that are better for your body (and hoo-ha)—and now it's certified official.
