What is Softwear?

Softwear is our first collection beyond underwear! Our community has long asked us to expand our better-for-you materials and thoughtful designs to the rest of your wardrobe—so we delivered seven versatile pieces that are soft enough for bed, polished enough for wherever your day takes you.

Is Softwear made with the same materials as your undies?

Yes! You all rave about our ultra-soft, skin-friendly fabrics, so we made Softwear with the same tree-derived TENCEL™ Modal you know and love. We also included our signature zinc oxide mineral lining on select pieces where it made sense—specifically, in the Mineral Headband, Foundation Bralette, and in the built-in shelf bra of the Foundation Tank and Versi Slip.

Do the Softwear pieces have the same zinc oxide mineral lining?

We intentionally added our mineral lining where you would benefit most from zinc oxide’s antimicrobial properties—specifically, in the Mineral Headband, Foundation Bralette, and in the built-in shelf bra of the Foundation Tank and Versi Slip.

We omitted the mineral lining from styles that would benefit most from the easy, natural drape and exceptional softness of TENCEL™ Modal alone. These include the Easy Tee, Long Sleeve Easy Tee, Everywhere Short, and Everywhere Pant.

"I find the tank comfortable but not quite as supportive in the bust as I’d like. Since I wear it for lounging and not when I am going out it’s okay. I also find it just a little short for my liking, I prefer tucked-in tanks rather than exposing my midriff. My sensitive skin and I love the feel of the fabric, though and I’ll experiment with other tanks in the collection that appear to be longer."

Almost perfect

"I like this top. The fabric and feel are lovely. However I wish it was a little longer. When i wear it, because it is so short, it scoots up above my waist which I don’t like. I suppose this depends what one's body is like. I’m 5’6” 135 lbs and bought a medium. It fits my chest fine and I am a bit short waisted but longer would be better - for me."

"Great tank, sizing is a bit off. I’m petite, 5’2, athletic build, 110lb and purchased an xs based on the website sizing and the triangle bra I recently purchased. The band separating the antimicrobial lining is a tad tight, I’d say for athletic builds or if you tend to bloat in the mid-abdo area, sizing up may be a good idea . Otherwise it’s comfortable!"

"I really love this tank, especially in the Iron colour, but docked a star because the chest area is small compared to their other tanks. It's very revealing, but still looks very good (especially paired with the pants). Very comfortable too."

My favorite tank

"I have the classic tank and really like it so decided to try the foundation tank. The built in cami bra is comfortable and offers enough support. I’m a size small and found this fits true to size. Length wise the foundation tank is shorter than the classic tank, but not short enough to be considered a cropped tank in my opinion. Just a tiny little bit of boob shows. , nothing crazy. I’ve been trying to find better tanks to wear for everyday use and to the gym (including a natural based fabric I don’t feel terrible about hopping in the public sauna with for 5 minutes) and this is great. I just bought one more."

A lot of reasons to buy it if you can

"I listened to the reviews and sized up (I’m a true to size large for the Foundation Bra), and I am super happy with the fit. I have a larger bust and smaller waist so sizing can be tricky, but this tank hugs in all the right places and has decent support for the chest. I wouldn’t go running in it without sports bra underneath for more support, but it can handle brisk walks/hiking, some dancing, and overall chilling with confidence. The straps may need adjusting over time but I think it depends on your activity level. As someone who thrifts 95% of my clothes, the pricing is so high for a single tank. But I believe in investing in basics that will last a long time and are good for my body, so when I have a little savings to direct towards my closet, this is where I’ll keep coming back to."
