What is zinc oxide — is it safe?
Zinc oxide is a naturally-occurring mineral that’s antimicrobial and skin-soothing. That’s why you'll often find it in skin care and diaper creams. We use pharma-grade zinc oxide for purity, and all of our materials are OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified and safe for direct-to-skin wear.
How are tree fabrics different from cotton?
TENCEL™ cellulose fibers are known to be even softer, more breathable and moisture-wicking than cotton. Plus, TENCEL™ has earned the EU Ecolabel for environmental excellence across the fiber lifecycle—including their water-saving production methods.
Does the mineral lining wash out?
Unlike topical treatments that tend to wash or wear off quickly, the zinc oxide in our lining is actually embedded into the yarn at the spinning stage. That means the majority of the zinc oxide (and it's benefits) remain through the lifetime of the garment.
